Neha Anindya Singh is a home decor enthusiast born in Pithoragarh and brought up in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. She completed her high school in Gorakhpur and pursued further education in Delhi. As a student, she used to excel in Hindi literature. Even during her college times, she did her master’s in Human resources and worked for a reputed medical firm. She felt proud of her job because she was saving lives. Throughout her educational journey, she went with the flow and it worked out pleasantly for her.

Diwali was one such occasion when she decorated her home beautifully. Her parents used to support her in every way possible. Home Decor acts as a magnet in Neha’s life. It draws her towards it always and she is more than happy to comply. Even as a little girl, her room was organized and beautified. She grew up observing both her maternal aunts who have been true inspirational sources in her life.
Her journey started at home. Quite literally. She started decorating her home and she posted her styled corners on her Instagram. That is called Decorholics Abode. She owes her growth on Instagram to Preethi Prabhu. She has been her major source of inspiration. She earned a lot of insights from her.
Neha shares that decor and DIY help her unwind herself and is a stress buster for her. She primarily focuses on budget decor and makeovers. Her DIYs are easy for anyone to recreate. She tries to create a phenomenal product out of easily available material. Her sole agenda is to uplift and interact with her audience. She never ran behind numbers. Being consistent, real and functional, and satisfying her creative bug made her shine out of the lot.
Balancing gracefully between different facets of life
When we asked Neha how she balances her personal and professional life. She spilled some valuable beans. She states that she shares real and responsible content. She enjoys what she does and her Instagram is her happy place. She shares her journey and interacts with a lot of people. She is grateful for the virtual family that she has created over Instagram. She is consistent and dedicated to her work. Every day she segregates specific hours for posting and consuming content.
Since Neha started her page, her family views her in a different light. They call her up for any queries or suggestions in terms of Home Decor. Apart from the stipulated time offered to her Instagram, she spends the rest of the time with her family. There are times when her whole day gets consumed in creating valuable content. On such days, her husband offers a helping hand. He is a strong pillar of support for her. He handles other chores efficiently and that boosts Neha’s conviction towards her work.
Fun moments with Neha
We already know that Neha is deeply passionate about Home Decor. But here’s a secret. There are a lot of other things she loves to do in her free time. She loves creating zentangles and mandalas. Her taste buds raise at the smell and taste of Chinese food. She is a mountain person; if you leave her in the ranges she would design an impeccable house and reside there forever. She binge watches some classic series and watches different DIY videos.

Thought process on the influencer space on Instagram
Neha shares that the social media influencer space comes with a lot of responsibility. The numbers on your follower’s tab do not make a difference. What makes a difference is a way you impact people, states Neha. She elaborates by saying that the love and encouragement you receive from here is abundant. It infuses a lot of energy and motivation in the creator. Also, encouragement leads to brainstorming sessions because you want to offer the best to your audience. But on the other side, there is a lot of negativity revolving around the platform. But with a due course, you learn to deal with it and move on.
