Sayak, who is throwing major friendship goals through his social media posts nowadays, used to be a very shy first bencher with almost no friends in school. One day when he got beaten by some mischievous boys, instead of hitting them back he acted like he was thrown by someone from school stairs. He acted so perfectly throughout the sequence of taking him to the hospital to giving him injections to confusing doctors through his ace in inborn acting skill. That day he met with his actor self for the first time.

During his school days, Sayak saw his family struggling for every penny. That was the time when he decided to change the fate of his family for good and started penetrating through the newspaper ads for acting opportunities.

The very first time Sayak got an opportunity and was asked to pay 3000 rupees, he was not in good financial condition. Much like an angel in his life, Sayak got the money from a friend’s mother – with a sweet note of taking twice the amount back once he would become a successful actor.

Sayak started his career as a junior artist and small supporting characters who would hardly get opportunities to deliver a piece of dialogue. He also got opportunities to work in movies like The Light: Swami Vivekananda which received great appreciation and recognition. However, his fortune took a real turn on the day he got chosen for a role in the first look for a popular TV series Boyei Gelo, which made it to the top of the TRP lists for years in West Bengal.Sayak mesmerized millions of Bengalis with his delicate acting skills by appearing in more than 16 TV series at a tender age of 25. At such a young age when we almost lived a clueless life on what to achieve, he gifted his homeless parents a house out of his hard-earned money, giving him a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction. He is indeed a jewel who is shining after getting polished by life’s experiences.
