The Story Conveyed Here:
Jeff has a unique way with his paintings. The characteristics of his work are distinctive and are reminiscent of peace and vividness. Jeff states that he lets his subconscious pave the way of the creation of a piece. Along with this, his personal life and experiences also play an eminent role in the creation of his artwork. Most of his works are autobiographical in nature but simultaneously the subjects are eternal archetypes of childhood figures. One may take a trip down memory lane while admiring his paintings. His work lets the viewer imagine his fond childhood days and makes them giggle. In this particular painting presented here, the importance of reconciliation with the natural world is well articulated. Jeff believes that we are only other beings on this huge planet sharing space with our fellow mates. He urges that we need harmony and peace to sustain and not fear and conflict. His painting warmly passes on the message.
Behind The Wood Board:
Our creative artist follows a ritual every time he creates a masterpiece. The first step is creating a series of collages of carefully chosen pieces of paper. He then assembles them on a wooden canvas. After they get dried up, he lets his imagination flow in abstract directions and traces the shapes and forms with a pen or a pencil which will later come to life. The next step is choosing vibrant hues or glitters to infuse life into the characters on the wood board. He also sometimes uses fabrics to enhance the essence of the mood.
