Always having a dream of doing something different, this girl, Shinjini Bhowmick, stands out for herself today at just the age of 21. She belongs to a Bengali family and is born and brought up at Kolkata. Apart from being an artist, her keen interest in blogging has brought her all the spotlight. She balanced to maintain her tiny steps in the Film Industry through positivity and faith.

Shinjini did her schooling from Ramakrishna Mission, which is assuredly one of the prestigious schools, best in nurturing traditions. She wanted to be a pilot and dreamt of flying high at such a tender age of 10. Later as she started watching movies like Iron man, she developed her insight towards the glamour world.
She was just 13 years old when she began her acting career. Having a supportive and liberal family was the icing on the top. Also, her mother wanted to be an actress too, so what could be better than watching your dream in your daughter’s eyes? Watching your dream getting fulfilled by your daughter must be such a proud moment
Talking about managing studies and work life, Shinjini decided to focus on academics until 12th to complete her schooling, which was challenging. Yet all she managed being dedicated and charged towards her goals. Her father wanted her to become an engineer, yet stood by her decision and gave her life teachings, which she still has faith in, even today. Her father’s golden words of wisdom that one should compete with themselves before competing with others is now her go-to mantra. Surprisingly she never took any acting classes but worked backstage in theatres and shows with experienced crews to learn more and more.
She started fashion blogging and was eventually helped a lot by co-bloggers and people around. It was again becoming hard for her to maintain her work life, with studies and blogging, but she never backed up from hard work, her belief in enjoying doing what she likes has been her constant support.With around 48k followers on Instagram, she has already done many serials for Zee Bangla and Star Jalsa. She has recently even shot for a short film on stories of Satyajit Ray, which is supposed to be released in January, which is a mix of modern tint with traditional stories. She is shining quite bright at a very tender age.
Her positive attitude is her strength.
Talking about Criticisms and malicious troll around, she has always been super cool about all of these. Whatever she doesn’t like, she avoids. As a result, she deletes negative comments and ignores everything. She feels that being into a profession that involves audiences, criticisms would always come hand in hand.
She repeats that, avoid everything that you don’t like. And just keep moving on.
Shinjini believes she chose the right field for herself; being into the glam world from such a young age taught her a lot, starting from knowing the outside world, knowing people around, and eventually choosing which path to choose.
Her message to today’s youngsters dreaming of getting into this field would be to be consistent. To have patience, everything one dreams of will definitely achieve with constant efforts, hard work, and never give up attitude. She believes the secret mantra for success is continuous dedication in achieving what you dream of achieving.
