If you have a grand wedding plan or a family party coming up and need to make a list of India’s topmost DJs, then DJ Alex would be a prominent name in that list. Even though he was born in a regular family in Bandra, his passion for DJ and music made him a global brand. Alex mentions that his father was a well-known doctor in Mumbai and owned a laser surgery center, but he never intended to join the medical field.
He was inclined to music and producing music since his schooling days, and reading was not his thing as there was no family pressure to study medicine, so he focused on music. He was 14 when he and his friend decided to start a DJ rental business, which turned out to be the turning point of his life.
God’s Plan
Alex acknowledges the fact that everything he has achieved so far is all because of God’s plans. No matter how difficult your struggle period is, there is a universal power that will lead you to your ultimate destiny. Interestingly, it all started just like that in Alex’s case. He was in high school when he began a small DJ rental venture with his school buddy.
They used to provide different kinds of music equipment for parties and significant events on rent. Everything was ready and DJ set up in an event, but the DJ didn’t show up on one such occasion. It was just another day of work but with a completely different kind of problem. It was 8 PM already, and there was nothing else to do but to arrange things at the earliest. The crowd needed a DJ with an impeccable music taste, and that’s when Alex pitched in. Since there was no other possible solution around, he took charge and began to play CDs from his collection. People loved it, and he never looked back since then. Even though it was a pretty intense situation, Alex recalls it as one of the best memories of his life.
Eventually, Family Turned Around
Being an artist isn’t a piece of cake, mostly when you belong to a doctor’s family. Alex’s father was always very understanding of the interests of his son. Though, a strong will for creating a milestone in the DJ industry did scare his parents for a significant period. But all those mixed feelings and worries were natural on their front.
Alex’s parents were startled at first after knowing their son’s plans, but they kept it to themselves. After plenty of struggling years and a few noteworthy music assignments, things took a drastic turn, and everything got better with time. A few years back, his father left for a heavenly abode, but he saw his son becoming a successful wedding DJ, and it made him proud.
Support From Better Half
An artist never stops struggling because the urge to create the best always lures him to keep trying and trying. That’s what happened with DJ Alex and his compelling journey of struggle. Although Mamta Khatri Sharma made his life better and easier, DJ Alex found comfort and love. Alex gives credit to his better half for making things around him so easy that he can focus on his jobs and not worry about trivial matters, and he can maintain his focus on the best creations. Not only does she manage a lot of things at the same time, but she also keeps an eye on Alex’s fitness so he can always be ready for outdoor events in various countries.
Alex’s first domestic outdoor assignment was in Goa, whereas he traveled to Dubai for his first international event. Since then, he has covered Phuket, Bangkok, and other prominent locations and dazzled the crowd with his mesmerizing music talent. Apart from music, he also shares his food interests and believes in indulging in quality family time. Alex mentions that even if you are doing great in your career and making a decent amount of money, the struggle for creating the finest piece of art always bounces inside the artist.
