Shraddha’s Fair Share of Struggles
Shraddha always had her parents’ support; however, it was the social acceptance in the initial stage of what she did that challenged her the most. She also had self-doubts in the initial stages. She doubted herself in terms of her career choices, whether she should stick to architecture only, how photography will let her make a good flow of money, etc. Being a freelancer and a digital creator, money was another constraint that she struggled with during the initial days because she was not fully aware of her industry structure. However, Shraddha firmly believes that it is your passion that pushes you to climb new heights. Otherwise, there are many reasons to leave what you are doing. She feels delighted and motivated when someone gets inspired by her and follows their passion.
A Little Piece of Advice from Shraddha
Shraddha wants people to find a reason to become a digital creator. Today, everybody wants to become a digital creator because it looks glamourous and fancy. People get free goodies, attention, recognition, and brand deals, which feels quite intimidating. However, the other side of it is very difficult. Digital influencers are not traditional celebrities. It is not like someone gets to be a part of a film, and gets recognition. Things don’t work like that in a digital platform.
Your digital creation will be entirely yours. Right from scripting, shooting, and putting it out there for people, there is no one to help you. It is entirely and solely you who will do everything, and hence chances are that you make a lot of mistakes. You need to have discipline and must take it as a job. Think about why you want to do it, your plans, or at least have some passion if you want to pursue this.
