Art Featured: Nectar of Elegance

About Oil Paintings :

Oil painting is practiced by using pigments which are used with a medium of drying oil as a binding agent. There are several kinds of oil available to suit your needs. It finally depends on the output you are gearing up for.

Inspirational Canvas:

Ishaan quotes that nature itself inspired him to create this piece featured here. He added his flavor of imagination to infuse life into the painting. This piece displayed here has a far more deep story to convey than what meets the eye. This painting as described by Ishaan contemplates the potential of exquisite style and channelizes the flow of energy. Another riveting aspect of this painting is the use of extravagant colors and formal tones. They levitate the environment of the painting as a whole. Colors also highlight the mood that is meant to represent and make an impact. He aimed to create a painting that connects two colors together and make them a single entity. He definitely achieved his goal and the outcome is priceless.

Behind The Bucket And Brushes :

Ishaan states that an ideation process goes behind creating a painting. The first step is to churn out the concept from a cluster of ideas and then comes the execution. The rigorous practice is required to master an art form and with that comes the creative mindset. Also, knowledge of colors, techniques, and forms is important to create a beautiful piece. What oil to use, which brush can enhance the texture, and which technique will be used, all of these are essential to strategize before working on something.

Ishaan’s Musings:

Ishaan Suri is a 20-year-old Oil painting artist hailing from Amritsar, Punjab. He was a child prodigy in terms of art and he took baby steps to master the technique. He tried his hands on portraits, charcoal works, sketching, but nothing appealed to him as oil painting did. His stint in oil painting was rather unexpected but he was utterly fascinated by looking at the end result. He has been practicing this professionally for 1.5 years now by collaborating with interior designers.

To All The Newbies :

Ishaan suggests that all of them should focus on practical learning rather than informative tutorials. He adds that everyone should learn from their mistakes and the process of learning should never stop. Giving up should never be an option because you fail and then you stand up and learn better. As we come to the end, here’s an important lesson coming from him. ” यथा दृष्टि , तथा सृष्टि” Ishaan swears by this quote said by Guru Dronacharaya which means, “the world is as you see”. His personality resonates with this teaching.
