Art Featured: Hyper-realistic portrait rangoli
Art Form In General:
These are the kinds of rangoli that appear real and are meticulously detailed. It requires precision and undivided attention to create an impact. They resemble a high-resolution photograph with every little detail painted.
Inspirational Colours :
When asked about the inspiration that led him to create this unique artwork, Pramod has three words to describe, “ Create – destroy – repeat” and that speaks volumes about his work. Pramod always got highly inspired by the expressions of people around him because he felt that they conveyed more than a hundred words. To justify this feeling, he started pouring them on canvas through rangoli. Every time he sprinkles colors on the floor he forms an attachment with that particular rangoli. He pours out every ounce of him in making that piece and is left astounded at the end of every output. He is always innovative with his designs and many times convey social issues through his immaculate work. Colors hold a significant place in his life and they permeate peaceful waves into him.
All About Creating:
Pramod since childhood had been fascinated by colors and by rangoli itself. Sitting on the floor and creating beautiful designs was his notion of happiness and enjoyment. Before designing a piece, he sets a theme and then lets his imagination flow like the wind. Filling colors is an integral part of the process because they lay the foundation of it. Choosing the right colors is important to convey the message strongly. On an average, it takes 2-50 hours to complete a piece and that requires utmost dedication and focus. He loves to spend as many hours on the floor spreading colors around as that makes his soul happy.
