Kovid Mittal, an actor, model, Designer, traveller and also national swimmer and karate champion. He is a perfect example of versatility. He’s been trying his hands on everything possible and coming out just as fine. Kovid hails from a defence background and that involves Perks of travelling a lot. But he decided to set his empire in Banglore itself. He was pursuing his mechanical engineering from Banglore and that’s where he started gearing up for his future endeavours. He took part in a competition and emerged out victorious and after that he got a lot of offers for commericals and music albums. He also let out his own mens wear label. According to Kovid, exposure and experience is what matters most. Simultaneously he had also enrolled in an online fashion designing course and learnt a lot through that.

Next we know is that it was time he knew that engineering has to take a back seat and now he had to set his foot in the glamour world. The industry is tough with cut throat competition and you need to work rigorously to stand out. Kovid advises to not set short term goals but emphasis more on future plan. He adds that you need to have a complete road map about your life and how you want to go about it. Currently he is in acting and also surprising world through his immaculate designing skills. His men’s label has received a lot of recognition and praise since it started in 2017. He always had a knack for styling and it helped a lot to boost up his process.

His label mainly focuses on custom made clothing and he wants this venture to go global and grand. He wants everyone to consider his style and be awed by it.Since we know that he is a national swimmer he took us little with him to his memory lane. He used to swim when he was 5 years old and he was pretty good at it. He joined an academy later to hone his skills and unexpectedly participated in national competition. He was awarded the 2nd position and it was unforseen for him. After that he participated in various competitions and the rest is history

Now as we glide through his journey we also witness that he is a versatile person with so many talents. He believes that in his field nothing is certain and we cannot be single dimensional. We should be multi faceted and try everything that we can. We need to craft our skills to be a different person in the industry. Monotony doesn’t sell.
Talking about his current plan, he is engaged in a movie project called, “Quest to Everest” which will be released in three parts and will be available on an international platform.

Also, he has travelled widely across 18 countries and counting. Traveling intrigues him a lot. The culture, the people, places, history everything appeals to him on a different level. He has own page called Our Passport Diaries which help people to plan the whole trip. It acts as a guide right from booking the tickets to hotels to stay in, food to try, and how to save money and time. In 5 years time he yearns to make this into a full fledged page which will get worldwide recognitionIn Kovid’s opinion a person aspiring to be a model or an actor need to what suits him. His inspirations include Ayushmaan Khuraana who has improvised himself day after day and has always been realistic and evolves till day; and He also admires Vicky Kaushal who broke the stereotype of being Fair, and that you need to justify the character and that’s how you ace it. He emphasis on the fact that work on your personality, don’t copy or imitate anyone, be original and unique. 

He runs a youtube channel for his clothing line and his fitness tips. His cents of wisdom to new comers is don’t get into groupism, don’t indulge in politics, have long term goals, create contacts with as many people possible and stand out of the crowd.
