Early years accumulated with nostalgia
Anmol Sood is born and raised in the iconic State of Himachal Pradesh. During his memorable childhood, he notably credits his sister who shared her wonderful knowledge of numerous dance routines with him, that she learned at her school annual day function. They would amalgamate these choreographies into a truly impressive gala, presented to their relatives who were home in December.
Brainy and yet curious to get creative
He was a studious teenager, as he entered college he became more intrigued to creative modes, especially dance. Anmol even reminisces competing at various cultural tournaments, while being a student and emerging an undefeated champion!
Mesmerised with Kathak
Completing his graduation in Punjab, a junior named ‘Rahul’ caught Anmol’s eyes with his enchanting Kathak form, this highly motivated Anmol who then endlessly watched YouTube videos, trying to improve his understanding of Kathak. His research guided him to discover Kumar Sharma, a splendid professional in classical dancing. Ironically, Kumar was also training Rahul. Soon, Anmol learned ardently from Kumar as well as befriended Rahul, they performed terrific duets and remarkably won many competitions.
Lending a reassuring hand to the family business
He began pursuing his MBA, enabling him to greatly support his family business. He accomplished a post graduate diploma in events and freelanced in the field for three years. However, Anmol’s heart urges him to embrace the immense glory of dance.
Setting sail to perform in the land of opportunities, Gujarat
Shortly, Rahul informed Anmol about a corporate show in Gujarat. It was refreshing to embark on a new voyage in a different State. Anmol continues being Kumar’s proud student for four long and joyful years. Amidst the current uncertainty, they have refused to lose hope.
Master classes with the Kathak geniuses
Anmol, along with Kumar have started two phenomenal master classes of fifteen days each. He trains students in Kathak, fused with Bollywood as well as Hollywood songs. It’s a blend of charm, alongside sincerity.
A dazzling support system!
His family has always been incredibly encouraging. They initially thought it’s his hobby that will pass. Today, they stand tall acknowledging Anmol’s exceeding achievements. They express cheerfully through WhatsApp messages, showing they’re eager to receive his astounding videos. He appeared in an advertisement, which moreover adds to his parent’s delight

His final word of advice is listen to your heart, it knows the way. Don’t think too much about what others have to say. Finally, you have to live your own life. Just keep practicing till you’re perfect. Failure and mistakes mean you’re genuinely trying.
