Coming from a typical Indian background, Nivi took a massive risk of following her heart to be different. Despite being an engineering student and a gold medalist in her stream, she always felt something was missing from her life. Sense of achievement while compromising with inner peace was not enough for her to live a fulfilling life. Her academic record was top-notch, and she got placed from the campus itself in a multinational company. Working as an IT executive for 2 years, Nivi realized money could not buy true happiness. This was when she decided to prioritize her creative side over academics.
Her passion led her to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion retail brand manager and an explorer simultaneously. But, her journey was not that easy and simple. She had to juggle emotions, security, passion, money, and happiness to attain the right balance in life. However, giving up on recurring money and a great job was a tough choice to make. Her hardships began with convincing her family to let her do what her soul craves.
Nivi always had a creative outlook on life. She believes success is sugar-coated. For being content in life, money isn’t the only thing one should focus on. For Nivi, real success means doing anything and everything that brings true joy to the soul. Her mantra for a great life is to create a value checklist and keep money on the third or the fourth tab on it.
Nivi says, despite several hardships, every moment of her journey is worth cherishing. She believes that living a regretful life is the most painful thing for anyone. For her, it is important to explore life beyond the normalcy of society. That is why being a traveler came naturally to her. Her support system has always been her father. He guided her with the right advice and told her what one needs to climb the success ladder in the 21st Century without giving up on inner satisfaction.
Her turning point wasn’t a step up in her career. She started as a fashion executive with an ad agency that operated from a small old house. She not only experienced a step down in her position but also her finances. She chose passion over security in life, and it turned out to be a great choice. But, nothing came easy to her in life. She gave her blood and sweat to whatever she did to reach where she is today.
Today, Nivi has more than 12 lakh Instagram followers. But, this wasn’t her aim. She just wanted to post pictures and blogs to help people. However, being famous as a travel enthusiast was a byproduct of paving her path towards unconditional happiness. Exploring life at different places has given her a chance to explore the magic within her as well. Indeed, Nivi has a soul full of life that revolves around evolving and transitioning in the best possible way.
