Art Featured : The Third Eye

Art Form In General :

Charcoal painting is a form of dry art made of finely ground organic materials. Charred sticks of wood are used to create the painting. The main characteristic feature of this is that gum or a resin is used to fix it. It is impermanent and can be easily smudged.

Charcoal Inspiration :

Amit described that the particular art piece presented here, that is, “THE THIRD EYE”, is totally different from any other paintings that he has created. He holds this piece of significance because it is unique and innovative. This artwork is a combination of Abstract and hyperrealism which makes it even more bewitching. It is made from a vegan + cruelty-free makeup brand “fae beauty” which again makes it distinctive. This art represents peace between black and white color resulting in Grey which is nothing but an amalgamation of both. The sole inspiration behind creating this was to depict peace and harmony. He highlighted that there’s a fine grey line between black and white and he metaphorically presented it in this piece.

Behind The Charred Sticks:

Amit disclosed a fun fact by pointing out that the eye in this piece is his own. He made the reference picture by painting his face and later putting it down on canvas. A lot of practice and a wild imagination goes behind creating an art piece. Amit worked relentlessly to complete this art because it was special to him and he was left amazed after seeing the final result. All his hard work and his utmost dedication paid off when he laid his eyes upon the magnificent output.
